Unofficial issued LP: Burning-Desire-Records(S)MBDRM0l0 is a bootleg issue entitled THE C.MINGUS MEMORIAL ALBUM.
Note: The original tapes for this album apparently were private-recordings (of very bad quality). The audio image suggests two different performances, or, at least, two different recorders; cuts ~5. and -7. seem to stem from one, the remaining cuts from another source.
Cuts -2. -5. and -7. obviously are fragments of originally longer performances, buth the remaining tracks seem to have been edited heavily as well.
The liner notes give the following mistitlings for the compositions:
-1. as "Rockefeller & Attica"
-2. as "Swing Ghost"
-3. as "Freedom In Riffs"
-4. as "Cherokeekoko"
-5. as "Danny's Beat", which in fact is a fragment of dm solo, probably part of -7.
-6. as "Secular Lullaby"
-7. as "Development Of A Free Rising II"
